Oh my word. This place. It’s almost as if everything (incredible design, 2 lap pools, 2 golf courses, plenty of bars, and fireplaces, on the lake...) was built just for me. I’m excited to come back. Who wants to join me?
If you’re lucky enough to be at the lake, you’re lucky enough.
Ran into another great one by Helen Frankenthaler. Was glad there was a bench in front of it so I could sit down and cry a little.
The other day I spotted a used condom on the sidewalk, a shiny dime in the street, and this gem. This terrible pic is of one of the most amazing bicycles ever. An original Wright brothers-built bicycle. By far my favorite thing in Air and Space Museum.
Well, there you have it. The annual holding of the nieces. Two are 16, one is 13...and me, well I’m just an old lady with a super wide stance. I ❤️these girls. (We may need to get more creative next year.)
Thanks for the shout-out @gray_magazine !
(I can’t believe this is my life right now! I am so stink’n grateful to be surrounded by so many smart and talented people that support me, take risks with me, and laugh with me along the way...you know, people like the incredible @michelledirkse )
We did camping. Can’t remember the last time I’ve been. And whenever I hear people are going, it sounds really hard. You have to pack and put up a tent. Bring a bed. And blankets. And food. It seems much easier to go to a hotel where all those things and more are waiting for you. But in the end, camping wasn’t that hard. Especially when you have a very prepared friend like @michelledirkse All I had to do was show up at the ferry terminal with my purse. She had it all ready to go, even the hat.
Kicked off Seattle summer this last weekend with the first annual Seattle Summer Olympics. There was basketball, egg toss, push-ups on paddle boards, ping pong and more. No clue as to why I’m cheering here. Maybe it was just because the day was so darn fun. Shout out to the fabulous @nedatalyai and @thomasbillecph for making it happen!
I’m such a fan of the great state of Washington. Incredible wine, weather, and people. @beckybronner and fam know how to host. I’ll be back to swim, bike, eat, drink, and laugh.
Had to make a quick trip to Phoenix for work and ended up here. This is what I learned: I need to go back. I need to bring my clubs. And I need to spend more nights at this beautiful oasis.
Holy Camelback, what a great weekend. Shoutout to @danielleweaver_ and her amazing hubby for making it happen. I’m pretty freaking fortunate to have so many incredible people in my life.
I love this place.
Neither I nor @4rabbott have any clue as to why we were laughing here. But that’s fine—gives us more to laugh about.📸 @smelbz
It has been so much fun watching this one just kill it over the past six years. And I am so very honored to be a part or her new adventure in wallpaper and fabric land. Here’s to whatever’s next
Turned a corner and ran into this beautiful beast. I love this city.
